Thiwanka was instrumental to the founding of Sackville Capital and the development of the firm’s strategy alongside Nasir. He was previously Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer at the firm.

Thiwanka has over 15 years of experience building and leading businesses across the investment industry. Prior to Sackville, he was Chief Financial Officer and Head of Risk at AHC Investment Division, Head of Market and Operational Risk at Saudi Fransi Capital and held asset management roles at Credit Agricole and MASHoldings.

Thiwanka is a CFA Charterholder, FRM Holder, Chartered Accountant and Management Accountant.

Paul oversees the firm’s operational activities including finance, risk management compliance, and is a member of the senior leadership team. He initially joined Sackville Capital as an independent member of the firm’s Audit & Oversight Committee in 2020.

Paul brings over 25 years of operational expertise. He has held Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer roles across the financial services sector at several firms, including at Instinet and Credit Suisse. He spent 10 years as Chief Risk Officer at Daiwa Capital Markets and began his career at PwC.

Paul is a Chartered Accountant, and a Fellow of the ICAEW.

Michelle is a member of the senior leadership team and manages the firm’s legal processes and corporate governance, bringing her extensive corporate and commercial legal experience to the role.

Michelle has worked for more than 20 years as a lawyer in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Sackville, Michelle held in-house legal roles at several firms, including 3 years with a hedge fund manager and 10 years with Goldman Sachs International. She has also worked in private practice at Clifford Chance and Ashurst.

She is qualified to practice law in both England and Australia.
